Macklemore Announces A “Magic Rap Album”

(AllHipHop News) Macklemore’s fanbase continues to grow daily.

Not only is he a rap superstar, but his ability to create pop-friendly records has allowed him to transcend genres and reach different audiences all across the world.

Now, the Seattle native announces a whole new project: a Magic Rap album.

In a picture shared to his 4.5 million followers on Instagram, real name Ben Haggerty posted a photo of himself in a purple, glittery magician outfit.

In the caption, Macklemore writes, “CONTEST ALERT I’ve been working hard on this magic s###. And now I’m combining both of my talents for the first-ever Magic Rap album. And YOU get to pick the name. Drop the best album title in the comments, I’ll select the best one and whoever wins gets a free dog. (I pick the dog and I get to name it though. That’s fair). Good luck. ”

It looks like he’s also running a contest with the winner picking the name of the album, along with a free dog, which the rapper will name.

Macklemore’s first album without frequent collaborator Ryan Lewis was Gemini, which arrived in 2017.

It looks like this will his second solo endeavor.
