Large Professor will reunite with Main Source
member K-Cut for the first time in over nine years, when they take the stage
Sunday December 22 at The Opera House in Toronto, Canada.
Main Source debuted in 1991 with the classic
Wild Pitch Records release, Breaking Atoms. The album launched the careers
of Nas and Akinyele and spawned the hit single "Lookin At The Front Door."
Soon afterwards, the group, which consisted of The Large Professor, K-Cut and
Sir Scratch, broke up due to creative differences. Large Professor was replaced
by MC Mikey D and the group released the album F### What You Think.
The Main Source reunion show will feature Large
Professor performing material from his solo albums, including 1st Class
after which he will be joined on stage by K-Cut to perform now-legendary Main
Source material. No word if Sir Scratch will appear.
