(AllHipHop News) A man in California accused of selling Mac Miller a fatal dose of drugs has been charged in the rapper’s death.
One of three people accused of supplying Mac Miller with a lethal dose of drugs has been arrested in charged in relation to his death.
According to investigators, a 28-year-old man named Cameron James Pettit was taken into custody this morning (September 4).
Police say Pettit, an unnamed prostitute, and another person provided Mac with the lethal cocktail of drugs found in his system.
A coroner disclosed the rapper overdosed after consuming a mixture of fentanyl and cocaine in his San Fernando Valley home.
Police also found a stash of drugs in the home, including Adderall, Xanax, Oxycodone, and Hydrocodone, which he bought from Pettit, the prostitute in the other unnamed individual.
“Fentanyl disguised as a genuine pharmaceutical is a killer — which is being proven every day in America,” said United States Attorney Nick Hanna. “Drugs laced with cheap and potent fentanyl are increasingly common, and we owe it to the victims and their families to aggressively target the drug dealers that cause these overdose deaths.”
So far, Pettit is the only person charged in Mac Miller’s death.
