A 26-year-old man from the Bronx, New York, was arrested for murdering a 13-year-old boy Friday (Dec. 27), because the teen teased him about his weight, and compared him to Roc-A-Fella rapper, Freeway. Demetrius James, who stands 6-foot-2, and weighs 300 pounds, shot Brandon Marcus in the face as they rode the elevator in the Jamie Towers in Castle Hills. Marcus and his 10-year-old cousin were visiting their grandmother, who resides in the same building as James. Marcus was struck Marcus near his left eye. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died at 1:28 a.m. James was arrested at 5:20 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 28) and was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
