(AllHipHop News) According to reports, Boone Police Department officers arrested three men following a Migos concert at Appalachian State University on Thursday night. Cops working security at the Holmes Convocation Center “detected an obvious odor of marijuana coming from the band’s vehicle as they left the venue.”
A traffic stop on N.C. Highway 105 led to a search of the automobile. Officers reportedly discovered 420 grams of marijuana, 26 ounces of codeine, and Xanax.
None of the Migos were taken into custody. However, the trio’s reported associates Jharon Ahmad Murphy, Daryl Irvon McPherson, and Dominic Kevin Spigner were charged with crimes.
Spigner and McPherson were cited with misdemeanor possessions of Xanax. Murphy was charged with felonious possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and misdemeanor possession of a Schedule V controlled substance.
Back in 2015, Migos were arrested at Georgia Southern University following officers noticed a strong scent of marijuana from the group’s vans. Takeoff accepted a plea deal and was sentenced to 12-months of probation.
Quavo pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor marijuana charge and his 12-month sentence was suspended based on payment of a fine. Offset spent a few months in county jail before a plea deal that included five years of probation, a $1,000 fine, and banishment from Jenkins, Bulloch, Screven, Effingham counties.
