Marvel To Release Black Panther/Run The Jewels Variant Cover

KILLER MIKE & EL-P’S HAND SIGN TO BE FEATURED ON NEW COMIC BOOK

(AllHipHop News) After using Run The Jewels’ music to serve as the soundtrack for the Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet web series, Marvel has combined the Hip Hop group and the comic book franchise once again. The sold-out Black Panther #2 will be reissued with a RTJ inspired cover.

The Black Panther #2 second-printing is scheduled for release on June 15. The image was created by Rahzzah, the artist behind the UGK/Deadpool covers.

Killer Mike and El-P were also part of Marvel’s 2015 Hip Hop Variants. The duo’s signature hand sign was used by Howard The Duck and Rocket Raccoon as well as Deadpool.

Other acts featured in the superheros/rap stars crossover artwork included Kendrick Lamar, Raekwon, Mobb Deep, Lupe Fiasco, Lauryn Hill, J. Cole, Nas, Missy Elliott, Future, and many more.
