(AllHipHop News) A mural tribute to the late Notorious B.I.G. is to be removed from a building in Brooklyn.
The massive street art piece, which covers the wall of the building on Bedford Avenue and Quincy Street, has become a tourist attraction for rap fans, but the landlord wants to renovate, paint over the larger-than-life portrait and add more windows to the building.
The mural was painted by artists Naoufal ‘Rocko’ Alaoui and Scott ‘Zimer’ Zimmerman in 2015.
Officials at the Spread Art NYC collective fighting to keep the mural insist there is nothing they can do to save the massive art piece.
