(AllHipHop News) The Hotties are well aware that Megan Thee Stallion is a huge fan of the horror genre. Meg turned her fandom into art by creating the Megan Thee Stallion P.I. in: Hottieween trilogy.
Native New Yorker Teyana “Spike Tee” Taylor directed the digital series. Fellow Harlem representative Dave East stars in the ode to campy horror classics and Blaxploitation heroines. Social media comedian Jay Cole is part of the cast as well.
The first Hottieween episode, “LOVE BITES,” was published on YouTube on October 29. Episode 2, “SUCK A NECK,” arrived on the platform the following day. The third and final episode will drop later today (October 31).
Megan Thee Stallion’s last few days have not only included her acting debut, but the Houston-bred emcee also continued making her mark in the music space. The First Lady of 300 Entertainment released “Ride or Die” with VickeeLo from the Queen & Slim soundtrack, joined Chance The Rapper on Saturday Night Live, and performed with Phony Ppl for NPR’s Tiny Desk Fest.
Meanwhile, Hot Girl Meg presently has three songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart: “Hot Girl Summer” (#35), “Cash Sh*t” (#60), and “All Dat” (#70). The breakout artist also hinted that she was ready to release her debut studio album in 2020.
“I felt like my mixtapes were me flirting with my fans,” said Megan. “I never wanted to do an album ’cause I was like, ‘Oh, that feel like marriage. That’s a commitment.’ But now, I’m ready to settle down with an album.”
