Two members of singer
Bobby Brown’s entourage were reportedly cut or stabbed while dining at Sean "P.
Diddy" Combs’ Atlanta restaurant early today (May 23), authorities said.
Police said Brown, who has been arrested numerous times on drug
and alcohol charges, was not involved in the altercation.
The incident occurred after a fight erupted while Brown was
celebrating a relative’s birthday with a group of people at Justin’s Restaurant
and Bar in Atlanta.
Brown and his wife Whitney Houston live outside the city.
It was unknown whether the two men in Brown’s group were cut
or stabbed, or what caused the dispute, according to police detective D.L. Dixon.
"There was a lot of music and talking going on," Dixon told the Associated
Press. "It could have been something as simple as a bump, you know, somebody
bumped into each other."
Both men, one 21 years old and the other 20, were hospitalized
and in stable condition, said Dixon.
Authorities said
they were seeking the suspects, who drove away following the confrontation.
