(AllHipHop News) Rapper Method Man has been cast to star alongside Jennifer Garner in action film “Peppermint.” The Wu-Tang Clan member will play a detective in the film, about a woman out to seek revenge for the drive-by shooting deaths of her husband and daughter after waking from a coma. Pierre Morel will direct the movie, which is currently in production. It is slated to hit theaters later this year. In addition to “Peppermint,” Method Man, real name Clifford Smith, will also appear in the Shaft reboot and his bandmate RZA’s Hurricane Katrina crime drama “Cut Throat City.”
