(AllHipHop News) Nas and Kelis’ recent custody agreement crumbled over Easter weekend.
Nas just filed court documents accusing Kelis of breaking the agreement, by keeping their son Knight from him during the holiday.
The rapper said he arrived at Kelis’ house to pick up Knight on Friday for his scheduled visit when he encountered Kelis, fuming.
“When I arrived at Kelis’s house, she immediately began screaming at me, telling me that I could not take our son,” Nas said. “She was so irate I did not know what to do.”
Apparently, Kelis was upset because she wanted to keep Knight over the holiday as well but never bothered to consult Nas about an alternative arrangement.
Nas is accusing his ex-wife of treating their custody agreement as a “guideline” which she doesn’t follow. The rapper also says he’s encountered problems with Kelis on the days it is his turn to pick up Knight from his school.
“I don’t want to have a confrontation with Kelis, particularly one at our son’s school,” Nas said in court documents.
He is asking a judge to force Kelis to abide by the terms of their custody agreement.
