(AllHipHop News) The U.S. Navy SEAL who fired the shot that killed Osama bin Laden was listening to Gangsta rap in order to get his nerves up for the job.

Robert O’Neill fired the fatal bullet into Bin Laden’s skull when he was a member of SEAL Team Six, which is the unit that tracked and killed Bin Laden in a coordinated raid dubbed “Operation Neptune Spear.”

Robert O’Neill revealed he played “Red Nation” by Game and Lil Wayne on the night of Bin Laden’s execution, after he ducked the U.S. for almost 10 years after 9/11.

“Red Nation” is a standout track taken from Game’s 2011 release The R.E.D. Album.

“He’s got some good stuff going on,” Robert O’Neill told TMZ.com adding that he would love to meet the Compton rap veteran.
