Nelly’s Sweat
and Suit albums, the first two albums by one Hip-Hop artist to drop on
the same day, are on pace to sell over 400,000 copies each the first week in stores.
The album is expected
to debut at #1 and #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart next week.
The sales of both
albums are powered by the Neptunes produced hit “Flap Your Wings”
from the Sweat album, while the single and “My Place” featuring
Jaheim is taken from the Suit album.
The albums features
appearances from Fat Joe, Missy, Lil’ Flip, Christina Aguilera, the St.
Lunatics, Snoop Dogg, Ronald Isley, Anthony Hamilton and country superstar Tim
McGraw.
Presently, the
rapper is filming The Longest Yard, a remake of the 1974 Burt Reynolds flick.
The movie also
stars Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Snoop Dogg and centers around a retired football
quarterback who leads a prison team against a team of guards.
