(AllHipHop News) A feared gang member is planning to appeal a lengthy prison sentence he received last week in a RICO trial against Tekashi 6ix9ine and the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
AllHipHop has confirmed Aaron “Bat” Young’s lawyer Aaron Mysliwiec is appealing the 20-year-sentence his client received on December 2nd, when he was sentenced for one count of racketeering conspiracy.
Aaron Young pleaded with Judge Paul Englemayer for mercy due to his tough upbringing and his low IQ, which his lawyer said allowed other gang members to take advantage of him.
But Judge Englemayer ruled there was no hope to rehab Aaron Young, and he threw the book at the gangster, who also was accused of distributing over 80 kilos of heroin around New York.
In addition to Aaron “Bat” Young, Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, Roland “Ro Murda” Martin, Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack have filed appeals of their prison sentences.
Tekashi 6ix9ine, who was a cooperating star witness for the government in the RICO trial, is slated to receive a reduced sentenced on December 18th.
