(AllHipHop News) Pharrell Williams just officially launched a new adidas collection aimed at empowering women.
Over the weekend, Pharrell debuted his new “Now Is Her Time” range of footwear with the sportswear company, offering two unisex sneaker styles through the collaboration with his Billionaire Boys Club streetwear brand.
The campaign for the “Now Is Her Time” line features a diverse range of female stars, such as women activists like Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors and period.org menstruation charity boss Nadya Okamoto, among other lady philanthropists.
The artists and the topics they champion are rooted in gender, sexuality, sexual rights, race, and equality.
Pharrell also hired pregnant and breastfeeding models for the marketing campaign.

“History was her time. Now is her time. The future is her time,” Pharrell said in the campaign video he released on Instagram.
“Feminism is literally a synonym for gender equality,” another voiceover in the footage adds.
The “This Is Her Time” trainers will sell for $160 and $220 apiece online and in Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club brand stores in London, New York and Tokyo, Japan.
