Police are looking for a fourth suspect in the PnB Rock murder case.
According to Fox Los Angeles, authorities say an unidentified person tipped off PnB Rock’s killer before the fatal shooting. The mystery suspect spotted the late artist wearing expensive jewelry at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles.
Prosecutors claim the unknown accomplice waited outside the restaurant until murder suspect Freddie Lee Trone arrived. Court documents say Trone spoke with the mystery man and left the scene. He returned with his teenage son, who was armed.
Trone allegedly dropped his son off near the restaurant. Prosecutors accuse the teen of shooting PnB Rock in the chest after demanding his jewelry.
The unnamed teen allegedly fired two more shots in PnB Rock’s back, pointed the gun at his girlfriend and robbed her. He swiped the dying rapper’s jewelry as well before fleeing the scene with Trone, who came back to pick up his son.
Trone was arrested in Las Vegas on Thursday (September 29). His son, whose name hasn’t been disclosed, was arrested in the greater Los Angeles area on Tuesday (September 27).
The father and son were both charged with murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. The teen’s stepmother Shauntel Trone was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact.
