(AllHipHop News) Texas native Post Malone now has two Number One albums. Beerbongs & Bentleys debuted at #1 in 2018, and Hollywood’s Bleeding opened in the Billboard 200’s top spot this week.
Malone’s latest studio LP debuted with 489,000 equivalent album units. That gives the “Sunflower” performer the second-biggest sales week of 2019, behind only Taylor Swift’s Lover with 867,000 first-week units.
In addition, Hollywood’s Bleeding racked up 365.4 million audio streams which are the most for any album in 2019. Malone passed Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next (307.1 million streams) for that record.
Beerbongs & Bentleys started with 460,000 units. The set has spent 71 weeks in the Top 50 so far and earned 3x-Platinum status.
Hollywood’s Bleeding features contributions from DaBaby, Future, Halsey, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott, SZA, Swae Lee, and Young Thug. The singles “Wow,” “Goodbyes,” and “Circles” reached the Top 10 of the Hot 100 chart. “Sunflower” with Swae Lee peaked at #1.
