The producers that provided the backdrop to Young Jeezy’s debut album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 will come together in Atlanta today (Sept. 17) to share their experiences and expertise with the project.
DJ Don Cannon (“Go Crazy”), Midnight Black (“Let’s Get It/Sky’s The Limit”), Mr. Collipark (“Trapstar”), Sanchez (“Last of a Dying Breed”), and Shawty Redd (“Trap or Die”) have all confirmed their appearance at The Beats Behind: Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101. The event is hosted by Dynamic Producers (DP) at the Beats-N-BBQ Rooftop Event from 3 until 7pm in Atlanta.
“We are committed to helping the next generation of producers learn the truth about the industry,” said Felisha Booker, the founder of DP. “The only way they’ll learn the truth is to meet and hear from working and established producers.” The intimate event will be open only to members of Dynamic Producer and invited music industry executives.
The event will begin with a panel discussion, with some of the most active producers in the South speaking on a broad range of topics, from the recording of Jeezy’s album to the politics of the music industry. Following the panel will be a Q&A with the panelists and a listening session.
