(AllHipHop News) Producer/drummer Questlove is fighting back against a discrimination lawsuit in court.

Two former employees of NBC filed a $2 million lawsuit against Quest and the network, alleging they were booted from “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” because they are white.

Two cameramen, Kurt Decker and Michael Cimino, claimed they received an unsolicited, racist, misogynistic text sent from a stagehand on the set.

The two men claim they were fired after they complained to producers of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”

According to new legal documents, Questlove is asking a judge to dismiss the lawsuit, claiming Kurt Decker and Michael Cimino have not followed NBC’s arbitration process.

Quest argues that if there was an issue, the parties should have attempted to resolve the matter before legal action was taken.

The Roots co-founder blasted the lawsuit when it was first filed in January.

“Racism is REAL and exists throughout the world and for these gentlemen to claim victim is not only disrespectful to Questlove and his bandmates but to all that truly endure racism on a daily basis,” a representative for Questlove said in a statement. “As NBC already stated, the decisions made regarding these employees were made by NBC, alone.”
