(AllHipHop News) Rapper Common is reportedly in talks to join Melissa Mccarthy and Elisabeth Moss in the movie adaptation of crime comic book series “The Kitchen.”

Set in New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood in the 1970s, the story centers upon the wives of Irish mobsters, who take control of the crime operation when their husbands go to jail.

Common is in talks to portray Federal Bureau of Investigations agent Gary Silvers.

Tiffany Haddish, James Badge Dale, Jeremy Bobb, and Myk Watford have also been cast in the movie, which will begin production in New York next month.

It is slated for release in September 2019.
