Redman And Method Man Verzuz Battle Confirmed For April

Timbaland and Swizz Beatz continue to expand the Verzuz battle rap series under their new deal with Triller.

The hit-making producers/creators of the Verzuz battle series unveiled the lineup for next month, after hosting an amazing battle between Wu-Tang clan group members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah.

Next up in the series is one the fans have been waiting to see happen for a while: Method Man vs Redman. The “How High” rappers will make their debut on Verzuz on the most appropriate day of the year – 4/20 – known all around the world as a weed lover’s holiday.

“We got so much on the way and can’t wait to reveal the rest…” a message read from the Twitter account of Verzuz.

But before Method Man and Redman battle it out, another iconic Verzuz will take place. On April 4th, Swizz and Timbo have lined up a Verzuz between two of the most revered R&B groups.

The Isley Brothers, who made their chart debut back in 1957, will take on Earth Wind & Fire who hit the charts for the first time in 1971.

Between them, The Isley Brothers and Earth Wind & Fire have created some of the best-known songs in the history of the music business.

The Isley Brothers are known for American standards like “Twist & Shout,”.”Shout,” “It’s Your Thing,” and “Between The Sheets,” while Earth Wind & Fire has churned out classics like “Keep Your Head to the Sky,” “Shining Star,” “That’s the Way of the World,” and “September.”
