(AllHipHop News) Rihanna has made chart history in America by becoming one of only eight artists to score 50 or more Billboard Hot 100 top 40 hits.
Her latest offering, “Lemon,” jumps up from 50 to 40 on the new countdown, breaking a tie for 49 top 40s with Madonna.
Rihanna has now had as many top 40 hits as the Beatles, and she’s only one hit away from tying the Glee cast at 51.
Elvis Presley leads the pack with 80 top 40 Hot 100 hits.
Among women, only Taylor Swift boasts more top 40 entries than Rihanna with 55.
Meanwhile, Camila Cabello has landed a chart double in the U.S. as her hit “Havana” eventually makes it to number one on the Hot 100 after spending seven weeks at number two.
The former Fifth Harmony star debuted her first solo album Camila at the top of the Billboard 200 countdown on Sunday.
