(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z’s partnership with the NFL is less than a month old, and it looks like Roc Nation artists are already benefiting.
According to the NFL, Roc Nation rappers Meek Mill and Rapsody will help kick-off the league’s 100th season this September.
Meek Mill, Rapsody and Meghan Trainor are the first artists announced to be associated with the NFL’s “Inspire Change” initiative, which Jay-Z is heading up.
On September 5th, Meek Mill will headline a concert just before the Green Bay/Chicago game at Grant Park in Chicago.
The NFL will also host a “Kickoff Experience” with EA Sports, which will feature legends like Jim McMahon, Matt Forte, Michael Vick, Chad Johnson and Charles Tillman on hand to sign autographs at the free event.
There will also be a huge watch party in Grant Park, for fans who cannot make the game inside the stadium.
The NFL’s 100 season is slated to open on Thursday, September 5 in a portion of Meek and Meghan Trainor’s performance will be simulcast during the 40-minute pregame show on CBS.
