(AllHipHop News) Rap mogul Russell Simmons is planning a comeback to the media and fashion businesses.
Simmons said he is working on a brand new book which in part will deal with a rape scandal which tarnished the hip-hop pioneer’s image.
Russell Simmons adamantly denied all of the allegations, and he claims every lawsuit against him has been settled or dismissed.
Simmons, who was never charged with a crime, has been in New York for the past few weeks, after spending months in Bali.
Russell Simmons said he plans to talk about his situation an more in his new tome “Confessions Of a Hip Hop Yogi.”
“It’s about my advice for young men and the positivity that has come out of #MeToo and #TimesUp movement,” Russell said of one revealing chapter titled “The Awakening.”
Russell Simmons said he is also angling to repurchase Phat Farm, which he founded in 1992, and sold for $140 million in 2004.
“Confessions of a Hip Hop Yogi,” has no release date and Simmons said the book will be released in China before it lands on shelves anywhere else.
