A jury ruled in favor of mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs yesterday, after a TV host claimed he was assaulted after an interview.Roger Mills claimed Combs became irate during a 1999 interview, after being asked about allegations of his involvement in the murder of Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace.Wallace was gunned down in Los Angeles in 1997 and the murder has never been solved.”I particularly said ‘there are rumors going out and, we don’t believe this, but your fans want to know. Did you have Notorious B.I.G. killed?'” Mills said in 2001 after filing the lawsuit. An associate of Combs allegedly offered to purchase the tape of the interview, Mills claimed. When he refused, Mills says members of Combs’ entourage trapped him in his car, took the videotape of the interview and destroyed it.Combs testified that he couldn’t even remember the incident.Mills was seeking an unspecified amount from Combs for assault, false imprisonment, emotional distress, destruction of property and civil conspiracy.
