SMACK White Entertainment,
that company that is responsible for the popular SMACK DVD Magazine series, has
inked a deal with Koch Records. The union will produce a special edition DVD/CD
combo titled The SMACK Album: Volume I.
The CD will feature exclusive
tracks ranging from established artists to upcoming rappers.The DVD will include
the next installment of the SMACK DVD Magazine series, which debuted in 2002.
The DVD will feature freestyles, interviews, battles and more.
"We are enthusiastic
about the opportunity we have to bring our title to a national market,”
owner and CEO Troy “Smack” Mitchell said. “It’s more than
just a DVD – it’s a movement. Plain and simple, we are the streets."
The SMACK DVD Magazine debuted
in 2002, boasts 10 titles and has moved over 750,000 units to date.
The SMACK Album:
Volume I hits stores in November 2005 on SMACK White Entertainment/Koch
Records.
