(AllHipHop News) Rap mogul Suge Knight has dismissed a lawyer who was charged in a conspiracy to bribe witnesses, in connection with his forthcoming murder trial.

Suge appeared in court today to dismiss Thaddeus Culpepper, a member of the Death Row founder’s defense team, who was arrested and charged with accessory to murder after the fact.

“Culpepper is off the case,” Suge Knight announced during a court hearing today (March 12).

In January, Thaddeus Culpepper and another attorney named Matthew Fletcher were detained by the LAPD, for supposedly trying to bribe witnesses.

Fletcher is charged with working with Suge to spend as much as $25,000 to a group of bikers to make false statements to bolster’s Suge’s argument that he was being targeted for assassination.

During the hearing today, Suge said Matthew Fletcher warned him not to hire white attorney’s, yet Fletcher has snagged power lawyer Mark Geragos to defend him in the bribery case.

“‘Don’t mess with these white attorneys’,” Suge said Matthew Fletcher insisted. “Next thing I know, he got [Mark] Geragos,” Knight said. “I feel like the movie ‘Crash.’”

Thaddeus Culpepper was arrested for allegedly attempting to pay for positive testimony for Suge Knight, but the man ended up being an informant.

Suge Knight is facing murder and attempted murder charges for running over two men during an exchange at a burger stand in Los Angeles in January of 2015.

Terry Carter was killed during and Cle “Bone” Sloan sustained severe injuries.

Suge is slated to announce new lawyers during a hearing on March 23.
