(AllHipHop.com News) Cashmere Agency’s is sponsoring an official South By Southwest (SXSW) panel today (March 14) entitled “From The Blocks To The Blogs,” which will explore the multi-cultural future of social media and impact of the Hip-Hop industry in the online space.
With regards to the panel’s theme, according to Cashmere, “Since the social media burst in 2004, Hip-Hop Industry tastemakers and artists have embraced these platforms as an essential tool to connect with fans and to extend their brand. These early adaptors learned to engage fans, disseminate content and create brand awareness. What are the new trends and next steps for Hip-Hop in the multi-cultural future of social media?”
The panel will be moderated by Cashmere Agency’s own Ryan Ford, Vice President of Creative Strategy, and feature top industry influencers: Elliott Wilson (CEO, RapRadar and RESPECT Magazine), Karen Civil (Founder, KarenCivil.com and Beats by Dre), Devi Dev (SiriusXM Co-host, MTV Show “Hip Hop POV”), Nick Adler (Director of Branding, Stampede Management – Snoop Dogg, DJ Quik, Far East Movement, The Airplane Boys), and Justin Siegel (CEO, Mocospace).
