(AllHipHop News) It was only a matter of time that all of the critically acclaimed talent of Top Dawg Entertainment would head out on the road together. Their first ever full label tour will begin this May.
“TDE: The Championship Tour” will feature Kendrick Lamar, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SiR, Lance Skiiiwalker, and more. General public tickets go on sale starting Friday, January 26 at 12 pm local time on Ticketmaster.com.
The Los Angeles-based record company dominated the music scene in 2017. Kendrick Lamar’s Damn went double platinum and earned the Compton rapper seven Grammy nominations. His labelmate SZA picked up five Grammy nods, thanks to her R&B masterpiece Ctrl.
TDE already started off 2018 by dropping SiR’s November album. A new project from Jay Rock is on the way. Also, Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith were tapped to curate and produce Marvel Studios’ forthcoming Black Panther soundtrack.
