(AllHipHop News) As the online feud between The Game and 6ix9ine continues to play out on social media, hundreds of students in Middlesbrough, England are upset with The Game for another reason. The Gazette reports the rapper born Jayceon Taylor was booked to perform at Teesside University’s Student Union on Wednesday but didn’t show up.

Game was allegedly paid £16,500 ($23,200) and arrived at The Croft Hotel in Darlington that afternoon. However, the California-raised emcee failed to hit the stage for the 7 pm show.

“We have no idea why he didn’t turn up,” said event organizer Junior Masandi. He added, “[The Game] had requested full payment for the show, which we would normally hold off from doing until around an hour before the show. But on this occasion we paid him three hours before. We believed everything was in hand and that he was happy with everything.”

Game has not publicly commented about the canceled concert. Over the last two days, the 1992 album creator did post pictures on Instagram that are tagged from locations in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

“I was completely heartbroken. I’m fed up, exhausted and absolutely sick,” stated Masandi. “I have no idea where to go with it right now, but we are hoping for some answers once we have spoken with our legal team.”

Twitter users also went on the social media site to express their frustration with Game. Because of the no-show, ticket buyers will reportedly receive a full refund.
