(AllHipHop News) AllHipHop.com’s voter engagement and education partner, The League of Young Voters Education Fund, will host an official SXSW Interactive panel, “Can Bloggers Put Hope Back Into the 2012 Election?” today (March 12). The panel will be live-streamed on YoungVoterLive.com and featured on UStream’s SXSW Superchannel, and held at AT&T Conference Hotel in Austin, Texas during the “Interactive” portion of the annual music and technology festival.

Today’s panel will feature Hip-Hop artists and activists Dee-1 and Jasiri X, among others (see the full panelist list below). Moderated by Rob “Biko” Baker, executive director of The League of Young Voters, the discussion will explore the urban blogosphere’s impact on youth engagement in the 2012 Election. The diverse group of panelists will discuss how the digital media climate has changed over the past four years, along with its influential role in the upcoming November election.
