(AllHipHop News) It’s not just the Holiday season. It’s also officially Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye season. Canada’s Pop/R&B superstar once again has the #1 song in the United States with “Heartless.”
The Weeknd now has four career Number Ones on Billboard‘s Hot 100. He is only one of nine acts to have at least four No. 1 hits on the chart in the 2010s. Rihanna scored the most chart-toppers (9) during that time period.
.@theweeknd's No. 1 hits on the #Hot100:
Can't Feel My Face (3 weeks)
The Hills (6 weeks)
Starboy ft. #DaftPunk (1 week)
Heartless (1 week and counting)— billboard charts (@billboardcharts) December 9, 2019
Only nine artists have earned at least four No. 1 hits on the #Hot100 this decade:
9, @rihanna
8, @katyperry
7, @BrunoMars
6, @Drake
5, @justinbieber
5, @taylorswift13
4, @Adele

In addition, Abel has the #11 song on the Hot 100 with “Blinding Lights.” Both “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights” are #1 and #2 on the Digital Song Sales chart and the On-Demand Streaming Songs chart, respectively.
Last week, The Weeknd performed “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights” back-to-back nights on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Plus, he is preparing to make his big-screen debut when directors Josh and Benny Safdie’s Uncut Gems arrives in select theaters on December 13.
As “Heartless” leads the Hot 100 and “Blinding Lights” competes for the Top 10, The Weeknd may have to give up the pole position in the coming weeks to a legendary diva. Mariah Carey’s yearly smash “All I Want for Christmas Is You” rose 15 spots to #3 this week and already sits atop the Streaming Songs chart.
