(AllHipHop News) The latest Billboard 200 is topped by a six-track EP. The Weeknd’s My Dear Melancholy premiered with 169,000 units in its opening week.
This gives the Canadian vocalist his third straight chart-topper. Melancholy scored the highest first-week units for an R&B project since The Weeknd’s Starboy in 2016 (209,000 units).
“Call Out My Name” has become the breakout track from the set. The audio-only version has already collected 22 million plays on YouTube.
Rich The Kid’s debut studio LP The World Is Yours came in at #2 with 59,000 units. He was closely followed by the 57,000 units for XXXTentacion’s ? which fell one spot to #3.
