LIFEBeat and The E.A.R.S.
foundation are teaming up with Power 105 personality DJ Tony Touch again, to present
the "Reggeaton Explosion 2."
The concert will celebrate the release of Tony Touch’s new album,
ReggaeTony and will serve to raise the awareness of AIDS in the Latin
Community.
"We are extremely honored to that Tony Touch and the artists featured on
ReggaeTony are using their influence to help raise awareness among
this at-risk population," LIFEBeat said in a statement. “The first
Reggaeton Explosion was a milestone event for LIFEBeat and we hope to continue
working within the Latin community to decrease the number of Latino adults/adolescents
living with AIDS."
LIFEBeat isn’t the only collaborations Tony Toca has going these days, as his
album ReggaeTony is a mixture of Hip Hop, Reggaetón, and Salsa.
The album features collaborations with Tego Calderón,
The Beatnuts, Zion & Lenox, Pitbull, NORE and others.
ReggaeTony also features a rarity – The Beatnuts and
B-Real of Cypress Hill rapping in Spanish.
The Reggaeton Explosion 2 takes place Thursday, June 23 at Spirit in New York
and will feature performances by Tony Touch, Ivy Queen, Zion & Lennox, Nina
Sky and others
