(AllHipHop News) Bosses at the touring company rapper Lil Peep’s mother is suing for his death have fired back, insisting he and he alone is to blame for the tragedy.
She claims that, during a stop in London, her son was gifted a bottle of pills by one of his managers, and alleged the drug use continued during his final Come Over When You’re Sober tour, where the star was allegedly supplied with drugs, including Xanax and Ketamine.
Womack also complains Peep wanted to quit the tour, but his handlers ignored his pleas and made him continue on the road, ultimately resulting in the star’s untimely death.
But now First Access Entertainment bosses have responded to the suit, insisting no one forced Peep to follow the “destructive path” that cost him his life.
A representative for the firm tells TMZ the rap star’s handlers “consistently encouraged Peep to stop abusing drugs and to distance himself from the negative influence of the drug users and enablers.”
“He was an adult who made his own decisions and opted to follow a different, more destructive path,” the rep adds.
