Trey Songz Cleared Of Jealously Beating Up Flirtatious Girlfriend

(AllHipHop News) Trey Songz is in the clear surrounding allegations that he punched a former girlfriend and gave her a concussion.

The singer was hit with a felony domestic violence charge on March 19, after he was accused of beating up a woman named Andrea Buera at a party during NBA All-Star Weekend.

Buera claimed she flirted with one of Trey’s friends, causing him to fly into a jealous rage and savagely assault her.

However, the D.A. in Los Angeles has declined to charge Trey Songz, after his lawyer Shawn Holley produced various witnesses to refute Buera’s claims, along with some proof throwing doubt on the woman’s character.

Trey was hit with a felony domestic abuse charge, arrested and released on $50,000 bond. The singer maintained his innocence in a statement released shortly after he was arrested.

“I am being lied on and falsely accused for someone’s personal gain,” Trey Songz claimed.

Trey Songz is not in the clear yet, as he could still face a misdemeanor charge for assault if the Los Angeles City Attorney. decides to pursue the case.
