(AllHipHop News) Rapper Tyga made a serious power move, with the announcement of a multimillion-dollar record deal.
The rapper inked the huge deal with Columbia on the heels of his latest hit single “Taste,” which features Offset.
The news of his deal with Columbia marks his return to the major label system.
Tyga split with Young Money/Cash Money Records in 2015, after delivering hit records like “Rack City” “Faded” and “Bedrock” for the label.
Tyga and Cash Money eventually settled their differences and parted ways amicably, paving the way for the Los Angeles rapper to launch his label Last Kings Records with distribution through indie powerhouse Empire.
Tyga dropped his album Legendary in 2019 and immediately hit the charts with “Taste,” which went six-times platinum.
Tyga, real name Michael Stevenson, is currently in the studio preparing a new batch of music.
