Dre broke his silence after news surfaced that he’s in the hospital and recovering after a serious medical incident.

The news caused panic throughout the hip-hop industry, as everyone from 2 Chainz to Ice Cube sent out prayers to the man who launched careers of artists ranging from N.W.A. and Snoop Dogg to Eminem and 50 Cent.

“Thanks to my family, friends, and fans for their interest and well wishes,” Dr. Dre said. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!

Dre was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and sent to the ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he is recovering.

He is undergoing a variety of tests in an attempt to determine what caused the bleeding on his brain. Thankfully, Dre is expected to make a full recovery.

According to WebMD, the most common cause of a brain aneurysm is high-blood pressure, or atherosclerosis, which is a buildup of fats, cholesterol, in the artery walls, which can restrict blood flow.

Dre has been under pressure lately, as he divorces Nicole Young, after 24 years of marriage. The couple is fighting over an $850 million fortune.

The Aftermath/Beats By Dre founder claims he has an iron-clad prenuptial agreement in place, but Nicole says Dre coerced her into signing the agreement.

She’s currently after $2 million in spousal support. The estranged couple was supposed to faceoff in court tomorrow over the issue, but Dre will be hospitalized for the hearing if it even takes place.
