Vic Mensa Takes More Shots At DJ Akademiks On ‘Desus & Mero’ (VIDEO)

“F-CK DJ WACKADEMIKS”

(AllHipHop News) One of the most viral moments to emerge from the Everyday Struggle internet show was the Vic Mensa/DJ Akademiks confrontation.

Mensa called out Akademiks for his “satirical” coverage of the gun violence taking place in his hometown, including a YouTube video about a close friend of Vic that was killed.

The Chicago spitter even told the Everyday Struggle host, “I wanted to slap you in your face.”

Vic again addressed Ak during an interview on Viceland’s Desus & Mero.

When questioned if he really wanted to fight the internet personality, Mensa replied, “Yes, one hundred percent. I planned to whoop DJ Akademiks before he ever had a TV show.”

Desus Nice and The Kid Mero always ask their interviewees to provide a closing statement which appears in a rainbow above their heads.

Last night’s guest wanted his rainbow to read, “F-ck DJ Wackademiks.”

Vic Mensa has been making the media rounds to promote his debut studio album The Autobiography.

The LP – out on July 28 – includes appearances by Pusha T, Pharrell, Saul Williams, The-Dream, Ty Dolla $ign, Syd, Chief Keef, Joey Purp, and Weezer.
