(AllHipHop News) Last week, Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka and fellow Brick Squad member Gucci Mane took part in South Jamaica Queens’ annual “40 Day” celebration. Waka and Gucci appeared with Debra Antney and her staff from Mizay Entertainment. They helped pass out laptops and other school supplies to the kids, in addition to shooting some hoops. According to Waka this is not the first and certainly will not be the last of his charitable deeds.”My mom’s been doing things in the community and putting together charity events since I was a little kid and she’d make us help her with whatever she was doing,” Waka told AllHipHop.com. “Now that I’m older, all that has stuck. I can’t help but follow her example.”Last month, as temperatures hovered around 98 degrees in Atlanta, Waka and his crew passed out water to the homeless and as the holiday season approaches, he intends to do even more random acts of kindness. “We (Mizay Entertainment) got a lot of stuff we’re planning to make sure people have a good Thanksgiving and Christmas but it’s still not gone stop there. We been doing this.” Waka Flocka’s debut album Flockaveli drops on October 5th.<br
