(AllHipHop News) The 2019 BET Soul Train Awards aired last night (November 17) from the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Several rappers and singers hit the stage to entertain the crowd.
Wale was joined by Jeremih and Kelly Price for “On Chill” and “Sue Me.” EarthGang and Tiana Major9 ran through their Queen & Slim: The Soundtrack song “Collide.”
Boyz II Men, Yolanda Adams, K. Michelle, SiR, Queen Naija, Pink Sweat$, and more acts also performed at the ceremony. Plus, Keyshia Cole, Le’Andria Johnson, Anthony Hamilton, and Carl Thomas took part in the Soul Cypher.
Chris Brown and Drake were the big winners of the night by earning three awards for “No Guidance” (Song Of The Year, Best Dance Performance, Best Collaboration Performance). Lizzo won two honors (Album/Mixtape Of The Year – Cuz I Love You, Video Of The Year – “Juice”).
Beyoncé (The Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award – “Brown Skin Girl”), Cardi B (Rhythm & Bars – “Money”), H.E.R (Best R&B/Soul Female Artist), Khalid (Best R&B/Soul Male Artist), Summer Walker (Best New Artist), and Trevor Jackson (Soul Train Certified) were also among the winners. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis were presented the Legend Award. The Lady Of Soul Award went to Yolanda Adams.
