(AllHipHop News) It’s been 16 years since Miami Police Department detectives Michael ‘’Mike’’ Lowrey and Marcus Burnett took down an international drug ring in Bad Boys II. The two cops are now back for round three.
Will Smith and Martin Lawerence are reprising their respective roles as Lowery and Burnett in Bad Boys for Life. The movie will hit U.S. theaters on January 17, 2020, but Columbia Pictures has already released an official trailer for the action flick.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah directed the third installment of the Bad Boys franchise. Joe Carnahan and Chris Bremner wrote the screenplay. The cast also includes Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Paola Núñez, Nicky Jam, and DJ Khaled.
The original Michael Bay-directed Bad Boys grossed over $65 million at the North American box office in 1995. The 2003 sequel brought in more than $138 million domestically.
