White House Rep Responds To YG Kicking Fan Off Stage For Not Saying “F*ck Donald Trump”

The ‘4Real 4Real’ rapper went viral for a political moment at the Mala Luna Music Festival.

(AllHipHop News) California rapper YG has made it very clear where he stands when it comes to the current occupant of the White House. Before Donald Trump was even elected to the presidency in 2016, YG and Nipsey Hussle dropped the “FDT (F*ck Donald Trump)” single earlier that year.

During his set at the 2019 Mala Luna Music Festival on Saturday, YG invited an unidentified fan to the stage. The Still Brazy, Stay Dangerous, and 4Real 4Real album creator requested that the festival-goer denounce Trump in front of the entire San Antonion audience.

“I don’t know if I want to shake your hand yet,” YG said to the young man. “Listen, I spotted you out in the crowd. I asked you if you f*cked with Donald Trump. You said you don’t know. So, since you don’t know, I need you to make up your mind tonight. I want you to state your name because I know your mama, your daddy, your grandmama, your grandfather is watching. I want you to state your name and yell out ‘F*ck Donald Trump.'”

After the festival-goer refused to curse out the president, YG said, “No, you won’t? Get his ass out of here. Get him off the stage. He’s a Donald Trump supporter, get his ass out of here… Donald Trump’s racist. He don’t f*ck with black people, so if you f*ck with Donald Trump, you racist as f*ck, and I can’t f*ck with you.”

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham responded to YG’s viral moment at Mala Luna. Even though it is not confirmed that the Compton rapper identifies as a liberal or even a Democrat, Grisham sarcastically told Fox News, “Another example of the tolerant left.”

Back in 2016, YG claimed the Secret Service contacted Universal Music Group to address him rapping about the then-Republican presidential candidate. He discussed the Donald Trump/Secret Service situation with TMZ as well as DJ Whoo Kid.

“Secret Service hollered at the label,” said YG in a TMZ clip. “They asked to see the lyrics on my album to see if I’m talking about [Trump] because if I’m talking about him on my album, they’re gonna try and take it off the shelf.”

On The Whoolywood Shuffle show, YG stated, “They did the whole album. That’s why on ‘FDT,’ on the album, it’s parts of the song that I had to blank out. Then on the next song, ‘Blacks & Browns,’ Sad Boy said some sh*t toward Donald Trump too. They heard that and we had to either change it or blank it out, so we put the static noise on top of that.”
