Will Smith wrote a check for $111,000.00 to charity
after he agreed to participate in a weight loss challenge with popular radio
morning show radio host, Big Boy of Los Angeles’ KWPR-FM.
What began as a suggestion to the 510 pound Big
Boy to lose weight turned into a bet with Smith offering to donate $1000 for
each pound that Big Boy shed during Will’s weight loss challenge. Big boy surprised
everyone, including Smith when he stepped on the scale, revealing that he lost
111 pounds, slimming down to 399 pounds.
In related news, Big Boy is moving into television,
as he snagged a recurring role in the new television show "Fastlane,"
as "Aquarius," which also stars Bill Bellamy.
According to sources, Big Boy is also in negotiations
with Warner Bros. TV to develop an untitled series with "Fastlane"
executive producer and "Charlie’s Angels" director McG.
Big Boy has also appeared on UPN’s "Malcolm
& Eddie" and in the movie "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo."
