(AllHipHop News) One of the four men who are accused of killing XXXTentacion has come forth accusing police of violating his rights when he was being questioned.
Michael Boatwright is also demanding that all of the transcripts from the interrogation be thrown out of court.
According to The Blast, Michael Boatwright has filed a motion to suppress the testimony that he gave to authorities.
He’s currently locked up in jail and is he preparing to defend himself and await his trial.
Boatwright and his lawyer filed documents alleging his client was arrested on drug charges with no relevance to the murder.
He was then transported to an interrogation room in Broward Sheriff’s Office.
A homicide detective was asking Boatwright a series of “background” questions and 8 minutes into the interrogation, Boatwright said he did not “wanna talk no more.”
Boatwright maintains detectives continued questioning him after he asked for a lawyer, which is a direct violation of his constitutional rights.
