Loud

recording artist, Xzibit, who this year garnered a massive amount

of attention across the country first on the “Up In Smoke”

tour with super-producer Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem and

more recently on the “Anger Management” tour performing alongside

Eminem, Limp Bizkit, and Papa Roach, DEBUTS at #1 with the Dr.

Dre Executive Produced release of Restless on Billboard’s “Top

R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” chart, selling over two hundred thousand

copies its first week out.

The media has embraced

X on all levels; In October, based on high anticipation before

the release of Restless, he graced the cover of The Source magazine.

Also before the release of Restless, Rolling Stone featured

X as the “Hot Rapper” in this year’s “Hot Issue.” He was

recently featured in Vanity Fair magazine and on the covers

of Murder Dog and Stress magazines. On New Year’s Eve he will

be performing alongside Marilyn Manson, BBMak, and Papa Roach

for MTV’s highly watched New Year’s Eve special. He will also

be co-hosting coverage for MTV during the Golden Globe Awards

on January 21st in Los Angeles.

Restless, Xzibit’s

third release on Loud, went on sale on December 12. The first

single from the album, “X,” is produced by Dr. Dre while other

hits are produced by hot beat-makers of today such as Rockwilder,

The Teamsters, Mel-Man, DJ Quik, and Battlecat. Cameos on the

disc are made by Eminem, Defari, Snoop Dogg, King T, and Nate

Dogg.

After Dre witnessed

X’s delivery on the Mic he knew he wanted to work with him.

He invited X to rap on Snoop’s#### single “B Please,” which

lead to X’s participation on the Eminem’s remix for “B Please”

titled “B Please II” and cameos on three tracks on Dre’s release

of 2001.

Xzibit burst on

the scene in 1995, touring with Tha Liks a.k.a. Tha Alkaholiks

as a member of the Likwit Crew. He soon caught the attention

of Steve Rifkind and was signed by Loud in 1996. That same year

he exploded on the underground scene with At the Speed of Light,

which produced the critically acclaimed single “Paparazzi,”

and again in 1998 with his sophomore disc, 40 Dayz and 40 Nightz.

40 Dayz and 40 Nightz’ lead single, “What U See Is What U Get”

broke a record remaining at the #1 position for six weeks in

a row on BET’s Rap City, surpassing the rotation of Notorious

B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize” video.

X will soon be traveling

Europe for a promotional tour in support of Restless.
