(AllHipHop News) Rapper YG is facing two more felony charges relating to an alleged robbery in Las Vegas earlier this year.
YG, real name Keenon Jackson, stands accused of stealing a gold chain and diamond pendant from a fan named Benjamin Naderi in May, after asking YG for a photo while at The Cosmopolitan hotel.
The MC refused and then reportedly grew upset, as members of his entourage allegedly jumped Naderi, while the hip-hop star is said to have helped himself to the man’s jewelry.
YG surrendered to police in July after a warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was initially slapped with one count of felony robbery.
Grand jury officials have since slapped him with two more charges for grand larceny and larceny from a person.
Each of the new counts carry sentences of up to 10 years behind bars.
YG, who is currently free on bail, is set to be arraigned later this month.
Meanwhile, Naderi is also suing the rapper for assault, battery, and theft, and is demanding at least $250,000 in damages.
He is also suing hotel executives for failing to employ adequate security, but they are seeking to be dismissed from the suit, insisting they had nothing to do with the altercation, which involved third parties.
