(AllHipHop News) Young Dolph has been making waves on the internet and in the streets with songs such as “Cut It,” “Baller Alert,” and “Foreva.”
But it was the Memphis rapper’s Yo Gotti diss “Play Wit Yo B##ch” that really had a lot of rap music observers talking.
Dolph visited The Breakfast Club this week, and the interview included a conversation about his lyrical shots at Gotti.
“When I got one person come to me and say, ‘Bro, you heard this?’… I’m like, ‘Nah, I don’t even listen to this or that,'” said Dolph when asked why he decided to make the “Play Wit Yo B##ch” record.
Apparently, people continued to contact Dolph about alleged statements directed at him.
“Then you got everybody coming to you. So I’m like, ‘Okay, he wanna play?’ Don’t play with me,” Dolph stated.
DJ Envy also asked if the relationship between Dolph and Gotti’s CMG artist Blac Youngsta had improved.
“Shout out to them boys over there. I rock with them. I like to see what they’re doing,” responded the self-proclaimed King of Memphis. “And they’re from the city. Everything else, I ain’t got nothing to do with.”
Despite that cordial answer, Dolph would not comment on whether he is open to doing music with the CMG camp.
Young Dolph’s Bulletproof album is scheduled for release on April 1.
