Netflix’s new Hip Hop series “The Get Down” just hit streaming platforms and of course, there was a release party for the show at The Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in New York.
Stars, producers and castmates like Nas, Grandmaster Flash, Nas, Yolanda Ross, Shyrley Rodriguez, Jimmy Smits, Nelson George and Jaden Smithhit the red carpet to celebrate “The Get Down’s” premiere.
The first six episodes of the drama are now available for viewing on Netflix . The remaining six episodes of season one are expected to be released at a later date.
Nas serves as an executive producer of “The Get Down” and Grandmaster Flash is as an associate producer and adviser for the show.
