Wellllll as if this week wasn’t bad enough for Pharrell and Robin Thicke. Pharrell may be getting ready for another battle with the Marvin Gaye Estate over his song “Happy”. Jurors determined that Robin Thicke and producer Pharrell violated the rights of the late Marvin Gaye and now must pay $7.4 million. The copyright case stated that the pair essentially stole the sound of Marvin Gaye’s#### song “Got To Give It Up.” The problem now is there are conversations taken place about the Gaye estate going after Pharrell for “Happy” sounding like Marvin Gaye’s “Aint That Peculiar”.
